Hi there. Yes we were getting a bit desperate towards the end there but we sorted it out. Turns out that there were two settings on the router that we hadn't changed. WE could've had internet on Sunday...
Yes I recieved AC's SMS and sent him back one.
And yes, Our Kitchen is all IKEA'd up. Now we have to do the rest. Our room is looking very bare.

Dear Matt.&Sveta,
A quick Merry Christmas to you both and Sveta's family. Today is Friday,the temp. is 35 Deg. Cel.and we are getting ready for Monday.Plenty ofBushfires around part. at Mt.Hotham and further into East Gippsland. Some 700,000 Hectares have been burnt so far, but hoping for a cool change tonight with RAIN ! The gardens and lawns everywhere are so dry even worse than when you left.We have had to put up with plenty of smoke from the fires which has not done Nana's asthma any favours.If it is of any interest,Shane Warne is retiring from the Cricket scene after the 5th.test in Sydney in January,daughter Franny and Graham are out of their house in Christmas Hills, the settlement has gone through and they are in a Motel with the kids until Boxing Day and then off to McLean in Northern N.S.W. the next day.Lets hope everything woeks out O.K. for them and they can find decent jobs and accommodation.Well that's it for the moment once again have a great Holiday season, keep well and drive safely.!

Thanks for your update Grandpa! I've spoken to some friends too recently about the fires. ONe in particular, his eyes were literally stinging with all the smoke. Our weather here is starting to behave more like Moscow in Winter. We have snow now. I'll have to post up some photos of Snow covered Moscow for your enjoyment.
